About Us

Located on the west side of the Denver metro area, PRPD is a Colorado Title 32 Special District with a property tax mill levy of 6.6 mills. 4 mills is for general operations, and 2.6 mills is dedicated to payments related to bonds issued for the acquisition of the Applewood Golf Course. PRPD serves an area of northern Jefferson County that is largely unincorporated, including the communities of Applewood and Fairmount, as well as the Denver West Office Park.

PRPD is committed to providing the highest quality facilities, programs, and services to the citizens of our District and to other patrons.
